EBSU SACKS 63 LECTURERS AND OTHERS
Sixty three academic and non-academic
staff members of Ebonyi State University have been sacked by the school management.
Briefing newsmen at the main campus of the University in Ezzamgbo, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Chigozie Ogbu, explained that the affected members of staff were relieved of their duties over age record falsification, over stay in service and certificate forgery.
Professor Ogbu stated that those affected were fished out by staff audit committee set up by the Governing council of the University.
Professor Ogbu said 46 contract and 90 adjunct staff were also disengaged from service to create room for young academics in line with global best practices.
