THUGS STORM SENATE, MADE AWAY MACE
Federal Lawmakers have given the Inspector General of Police and the Director, Department of State Security twenty-four hours to recover the mace, after thugs stormed the Senate and made away with the it.
Members of the House of Representatives, join the Upper Legislative Chamber in the deliberations, in show of solidarity.
The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu also said the thugs tried to kidnap two Senators.
Reports say the thugs are supporters of suspended Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.
Meanwhile security has been heightened at the National Assembly, while Police have picked up Senator Ovie Omo-Agege possibly, in connection of the missing mace.
