ows of dead Police Officers of Abia State Command are to be trained and empowered on various skills.
The Chairperson of Police Officers Wives Association in the state, Mrs. Catherine Ogbizi, made this known during an event at the Police Officers’ Mess in Umuahia.
Mrs. Ogbizi said about 100 school children of Police officers would benefit from scholarship programme of the association in the state.
She pointed out that the initiative was a way of supporting families of Police Officers who put their lives on the line for security of the nation.
