POLICE ARREST NOTORIOUS KIDNAP KINGPIN, KILL FOUR GANG MEMBERS IN IMO
The Imo State Police Command has arrested a 32 year-old suspected notorious kidnapper, MichealOguguo, and killed four of his gang members at their hideout in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo state.
Parading the suspects at the command headquarters in Owerri, Imo state capital, the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Chris Ezike, said the suspect was arrested following a whistle blowing by some patriotic citizens who notified the police about the kidnap of a woman last Saturday.
Mr. Ezike indicated that the command was still gathering more information about their whereabouts of some members of the kidnap gang that escaped during raid.
He appealed to residents of Imo State to support the whistle blowing policy initiated by the command to eliminate criminal elements in the area.
