Nigerian U-23 Dream Team To Participate in Toulon Tournament In France
The Nigerian Football Federation has confirmed that the U-23 Olympic team, the Dream team will be participating in the annual Toulon Invitational tournament holding in France from the 18th of next month.
NFF assistant director of media and publicity Ademola Olajire said that the tournament would serve as build-up for the team ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympics.
The dream team has been drawn against Japan, Sweden and Colombia in group B at the Olympic football event.
Meanwhile Team coach Samson Siasia had proposed a camp in the United States of America, though he has insisted that the team must resume camping early in Nigeria before flying to the foreign camp.
Other countries expected to be at the Toulon tournament include South Africa, Japan, Mexico, Czech Republic, England, France and Portugal.
