SSASCGOC ENUGU CHAPTER INAUGURATED – URGED TO ABIDE BY THE RULE OF LAW

Public servants in Nigeria have been implored to be productive and discharge their duties professionally.

The Zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Enugu, Mr Ike Okere gave the charge during the inauguration of the Enugu State Executive of Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporation and Government Owned Companies, SSASCGOC, in Enugu. Mr Okere enjoined them to abide by the rule of law and take social partnership and human capital development as paramount.

The President General of SSASCGOC represented on the occasion by the National Public Relations Officer and Radio Nigeria Branch President of the Association, Comrade Abiodun Adedoye stated that the group was set-up to assist welfare issues of workers of the member establishments and deliver good return on investment to State and Federal Governments.

 Inaugurating the new executive, a Legal Practitioner, Mr Ken Ugwu admonished them to be non-confrontational with managements of their establishments and operate within the ambit of the law that set up the organization.

In a speech, the State Chairman of SSASCGOC, Comrade Anthony Ugwuonu noted that consultation and dialogue would be their watchword to ensure peaceful working environment.

The eight member State Executive has Comrades Afam Ogbodo and Alex Enujuba of Radio Nigeria Enugu as Vice Chairman and Public Relations Officer respectively.
