PROFESSIONALS AND ARTISANS TOLD TO EMBRACE THE BENEFITS ACRUING FROM VEDAN

skillThe Vocational Entrepreneurship Development Association of Nigeria, VEDAN, says seven cardinal measures have been developed to provide help to artisans and professionals in various areas of specialization in line with global standard and best practices. According to the Association, these unique measures would help artisans and professionals to address challenges facing them and provide the vision for promoting wealth creation through excellent services.

Executive members of the group announced this while contributing to a special edition of Media Link, a Radio Nigeria Enugu live interactive programme. One of them, the Coordinator of VEDAN, Dr. Walter Madu, said the Association had the capacity to train and re-train members, provide advocacy and platform for networking as well as partner SME’s to provide loan assistance that would help members to excel.

Dr. Madu advised interested persons to visit their office at number nine Ogui Road, Old ACB Building Enugu to obtain form for membership.

The Secretary of VEDAN, Mr. Madu Malachy Onyema stated that the association was interested in building the future of  artisans through adequate monitoring and proper guiding.

Mr. Onyema noted that VEDAN had vocational training workshop within the state where practicing and fresh artisans would improve on their skills and knowledge for better service delivery.

Also, the Head of professionals of the Association, Mr. Abel Orjinta stated that association offers specialty in every service delivery with modern equipment and urged people to register with  them.

Callers on the programme commended the association and advised them to extend their services to rural areas to capture more artisans.
