He urged CP Agbonleni to apply his wealth of experience garnered in service to assist security agents on advisory capacity to tackle security challenges in the nation.
While pouring encomium on the retired officer, the Garrison Commander 82 division, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Lasisi Adeboye, a representative of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 9 Headquarters, Umuahia, Mr. Supo Ajayi, the Commandant Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Enugu State, Commander Steve Amoga all described retired CP Agbonleni as an extra ordinary gentle man who served diligently.

After taking the mandatory salute, retired CP Agbonleni in company of his wife inspected the parade in a motorcade, as he bade farewell to the officers in what was seen as his last official assignment as a police officer.
Thereafter, senior police officers gathered to pullout the retired Commissioner for Police in an emotional laden ceremony.
