Six Nigerian Wrestlers Qualify For 2016 Rio Olympics
Six Nigerian Wrestlers have qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic games in Brazil after getting to the finals of their various events at the just concluded Africa/Oceania Olympic games qualifying tournament in Algeria.
Four Nigerian female wrestlers, Blessing Oborududu, Hanna Reuben, Mercy Genesis and Adeniyi Aminat alongside two male wrestlers, Amas Daniel and Soso Tamarau qualified for the Olympics to bring the number of Nigerian representatives in Rio to seven.
Odunaya Adekuonoye was the first Nigerian wrestler to qualify for the games after winning bronze at the 2015 World wrestling championship.
