NIGERIAS ARUNA QUADRI QUALIFIES FOR TABLE TENNIS WORLD CUP
Nigeria’s Aruna Quadri has qualified for the 2016 ITTF men’s world cup after emerging the winner of the men’s singles event at just concluded Africa Top 16 held in Khartoun, Sudan.
Quadri beat Egyptian Omar Asser 4-1 to seal a second appearance at the world cup. He made his first appearance at the event in 2014 where he finished eight to emerge the ITTF star player of the year.
Meanwhile Nigeria duo of Segun Toriola and Eden Offiong will be seeking to join other Nigerians at the 2016 Olympic games in Rio Brazil when they take on African Players at the Olympics qualifying tournament billed in Khartoun, Sudan.
