Nigerian Professional Football League Table And Results

FC Ifeanyi Ubah returned to the summit of the Nigeria Professional Football League after defeating Warri Wolves 1-0 in Nnewi. Madualbuchi Okereke scored the winner in the 55th minute.

Rangers International FC would have shot to the top of the league but for the calling off of the game by the center referee in the 74th minute due to the unruly behavior of the Jos fans during their match against Giwa FC.

Kano Pillars poor run against Rivers United continued as they lost 1-0 to the hosts in Port-harcourt. The Sai Musa Gida have now lost nine of their last 10 away games against Rivers United. Bernard Owoke scored the winner in the 77th minute.

Sunshine stars continued their resurgence as they dispatched El-Kanemi Warriors 3-0 in Akure. Okiki Afolabi scored his fifth goal of the season after scoring from the spot for the Owewa Waver, Isiaka Oladuntoye doubled the lead while Dayo Ojo converted another penalty.

Niger Tornadoes beat Ikorodu United 2-0 at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoka with Ismaila Gata grabbing a brace.

At Aper Akin Stadium, Makurdi, Lobi Stars beat Akwa United 1-0.

On Saturday, Nasarawa United and 3SC defeated Plateau United and Heartland by identical scorelines, 2-1 while on Friday, MFM FC edged Wikki Tourists 1-0.
