JOHN TERRY RULED OUT OF CRUCIAL CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TIE
John Terry has been ruled out of Chelsea’s Champions League game away to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
The Chelsea captain did not travel with the team to France after injuring his hamstring during Saturdays 5-1 Premier League home win over Newcastle even though he trained with the team on Monday morning.
Terry must now wait for his 700th Chelsea appearance, and his absence means Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink will have to pair Branislav Ivanovic with Gary Cahill in the center of defence, as Kurt Zouma is out for the season, while Cesar Azpilicueta will switch to right back and Baba Rahman come in on the left.
Eden Hazard is expected to be involved in the Champions League encounter while Brazilian Playmaker Oscar who missed the game against Newcastle is set to make his return after taking part in training.
