ITTF Premier Lotto Nigeria Open
Nigeria’s Aruna Quadri is the top seed for the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Premier Lotto Nigeria open.
The list unveiled yesterday by world table tennis body is made up of 16 men and eight women in the singles while four boys and a girl were listed for the championship.
Other Nigerians on the 16-man seeding list are Africa’s most decorated table tennis player Segun Toriola who is the first African athlete that will compete in seven Olympic Games, Portugal based Bode Abiodun and Ojo Onaolapo and Finland’s Benedek Olah.
Defending champion Portugal’s Jieni Shao women’s top seed while Nigeria’s Edem Effiong and Olufunke Oshonaike were seeded sixth and seventh.
The five day tournament will serve off on 18th of this month at the Molade Okoya Thomas Hall of Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos.
