INEC ISSUES CERTIFICATES OF RETURN TO ELECTED CANDIDATES OF MARCH 9 ELECTIONS IN ENUGU STATE

The Enugu State Governor, and Governor elect, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has been issued certificate of Return by INEC, at INEC headquarters in Enugu.

The 24 State House of Assembly members elect were also captured during the exercise.
It was an assemblage of party faithful, well wishers, friends and family members at the INEC’S Pavilion.

Addressing the crowd, the INEC National Commissioner incharge of Enugu, Ebonyi and Benue States, Mr Festus Okoye said that the commission would review the electoral process to eschew the wastage of tax payers money before, during and after the polls.

The Enugu State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr. Emeka Ononammadu urged the elected government officials to be of service to the people to justify the mandate they gave to them.

The Enugu State Governor, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi thanked the people for their support and assured them of more qualitative representation.

The Certificate of Return was presented to Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi amidst great jubilation.
