IMO GOV-ELECT COMMISSIONS 200 MEMBER GROUP FOR HIS INAUGURATION

Imo State Governor-elect, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, has reassured residents of the area of his resolve to provide purposeful administration that will address the aspirations of the people.

He gave the assurance while commissioning over 200 members of his inauguration planning committee ahead of May 29, 2019.

He said the people of the state were in dire need of selfless and responsive government anchored on the rule of law.

Chief Ihedioha charged the committee to liaise with the outgoing government of Chief Rochas Okorocha to ensure a smooth take off of his administration.

The Chairman of the Committee and former Secretary to the State Government, Chief Chris Okewulonu, while thanking the governor-elect, Chief Ihedioha, for finding them worthy to serve, promised to bring their experience to bear in executing the assignment.

Two former governors of the state, Chief Achike Udenwa and Ikedi Ohakim, called on few individuals who were challenging the victory of Chief Ihedioha to join hands in rebuilding the state.

General Manager Radio Nigeria Heartland Fm Owerri, Mr. Basil Uzoma, was among the members of the inauguration committee.
