ENUGU EAST APC CHAIRMAN SUSPENDED
The Enugu East zonal chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, has suspended its Chairman, Chief Anike Nwoga, over alleged anti-party activities. Nwoga’s suspension was announced yesterday by the party’s zonal Secretary, Chuks Owo, during the zonal executive committee meeting of the party.
The motion for his suspension was moved by the zonal Legal Adviser, Jones Anigbogu, while Enugu East council chairman of the party, Michael Onyeka, seconded it. Meanwhile, the party has set up a three-man committee to investigate all the allegations levelled against the party chieftain.
At press time, efforts to reach Nwoga for his reaction was unsuccessful, as his mobile phone was switched off.
