COLLATION OF SUPPLEMENTARY ELECTION HELD IN EBONYI IN PROGRESS

Voting has been concluded and collation of results is presently on-going in three state constituencies where the Independent National Electoral Commission conducted supplementary election in Ebonyi State.

Earlier, in some polling units visited in Ezza North West and Ezza North East State constituencies, voters were seen exercising their franchise as early as eight 0′ clock.

There was also heavy presence of security agents in the areas, who ensured that voters conduct themselves properly.

Also in six wards where election was disrupted in Izzi East state constituency, voters turned out enmasse to cast ballots.
