Ugwuanyi to aide orphanage home
The Enugu State Government has moved into the problems of the FSP Medical Centre/Orphanage Home on Abakaliki Road in Enugu metropolis, promising to render assistance to the inmates of the centre.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi while on a visit to the centre said the welfare of children and the less privileged persons in the society remains part of the priorities of his administration as he elicited first-hand information on the conditions and some of the challenges facing the inmates.
The governor, apparently guided by the body language of his administration to cater for the welfare of the people, seemed visibly touched and then, moved to find out more about the health status of the inmates with a view to proffering solutions to some of the identified problems as he toured their cubicles yesterday.
While addressing the workers of the orphanage home, business operators and other residents who gathered during the visit, Ugwuanyi assured the people of government protection as they carry on with their genuine businesses as well as attending to the welfare of the inmates of the home.
