
SOLUDO PREACHES PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE AS MUSLIMS CELEBRATE EID-EL MAULUD

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has expressed warm greetings to all Muslim in Anambra State and across Nigeria as they commemorate the Eid-el Maulud, marking the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.
According to a statement by Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime, the Governor Soludo notes that event offers an opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to the teachings and principles exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad.
It also says that the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad inspire values of peace, tolerance and unity, which are essential for the progress and harmony of any society.
The statement reminds citizens of the responsibility they share in building a more inclusive, harmonious, and progressive society, as well as sharing the spirit of generosity and kindness with fellow citizens.
It notes that Anambra State remains committed to upholding the values of unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence that are central to the ethos of our great nation.
The statement adds that regardless of religious faith, a prosperous Anambra State and a better Nigeria could be built.
