Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has charged security agencies to fish out killers of Head of ICT Unit, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Harvest FM Makurdi, Mr. Patrick Kumbul. The Police Public Relations Officer in Benue State, Mrs. Catherine Anene, had confirmed that Mr. Kumbul was killed along with his neighbor, Mr. Wuester  Shongo.

A statement issued in Makurdi by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Terver Akase, quotes Governor Ortom as ordering security agents to ensure that the perpetrators of the double homicide were brought to justice.
