SCHOOLS IN EBONYI RE-OPEN AFTER LASSA FEVER SCARE
Ebonyi State Government has reopened schools after they were shut down last week following the spread of Lassa fever virus in the state.
A statement by the Ministry of Education explains that the State government reopened the schools after reviewing measures taken to control the spread of the virus.
The statement urges parents and caregivers to allow their children and wards to return to school immediately as the situation is now under control.
Ebonyi State government had last Thursday closed down schools to prevent some children whose mother tested positive to the virus from spreading it.
