PRAY FOR SECURITY OPERATIVES TO SUCCEED IN THE TASK OF SECURING THE NATION. – AIG Mr Danmallam Muhammed

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, in charge of the newly established Zone 13, Ukpo Anambra State, Mr Danmallam Muhammed has called on religious leaders to continue to pray for security operatives in the zone in order to enable them succeed in the task of securing the nation.
The AIG who made the call in Awka when he visited some orphanage homes assured that the zone will strengthen security of lives and property in Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi States.
He said that apart from maintaining law and order , the Nigeria Police also cares about Children and the vulnerable ones in the society especially in this trying times occasioned by Covid -19 pandemic ravaging the globe. This, he said, prompted the visit to some orphanage homes to assure them that they are part of the society that must be protected at all times.
The AIG while calling on religious leaders and faithful to keep praying for security operatives, said under his watch, the level of security in Anambra , Enugu and Ebonyi states would be more visible and human rights of the citizens protected .
The Anglican Bishop of Awka Diocese , Most Reverend , Alexander Ibezim Commended the level of community policing in the state which according to him had made the state one of the safest in the country .
Bishop Ibezim noted that the church will continue to remember and pray for security agents and expressed the hope that the newly created Zone 13 will no doubt guarantee more safety in the entire area.
Radio Nigeria Correspondent reports that the Administrator of one of the Children’s Homes, Akwa, commended the AIG for practicing true ecumenism and showing passion to the orphans and widows in their homes.
