OVER 700 INDIGENT PERSONS IN NENWE COMMUNITY BENEFIT FROM FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH

Many indigent persons from Nenwe Community in Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State have benefited from a free medical outreach sponsored by a public spirited Nigerian, Mrs. AmakaAlinta.

Speaking on the occasion, which took place at Nenwe Cottage Hospital, Mrs. Alinta said that what motivated her to sponsor the free medical outreach was the desire to help humanity especially during this period of Christmas.

Mrs. Alinta urged various Governments and other wealthy Nigerians to always support the development of the health sector.

Some members of the medical team, Doctors Fortune Ujunwa and Sabastine Ajinro, called on Government at all levels to improve on the primary healthcare delivery in the country.

The beneficiaries of the outreach thanked the sponsor of the programme, Mrs. Amaka Alinta for the charity, describing it as the best Christmas gift.

Over seven hundred indigent persons benefited from the two day free medical outreach.
