NWIFURU SWEARS IN SSG, PRINCIPAL SEC, OTHERS

Ebonyi State Government has sworn in the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, Professor Grace Umezuruike.

Also sworn in were the Principal Secretary to the Governor, Chief Mathias Adum, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Chief Oke Oroke and the Accountant General of the State, Mr. Emeka Nwankwo.

21 Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants to the Governor and Personal Assistants to the Deputy Governor were also sworn in.

At the event at Government House Abakaliki, Governor Francis Nwifuru said he was happy that women were taking part in the state administration and assured the SSG and other Principal Officers of close working relationship to enable them to deliver on their mandate.

He said the Chief of Staff and other appointees who could not be sworn in at the event would take their turn next week.

The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Grace Umezuruike, in an acceptance speech, assured the people of the state that they would work assiduously to ensure that the present administration delivered on its promises to the people.
