NWIFURU INCREASES EBSU SUBVENTION, WORKERS’ SALARY

Ebonyi State Government has approved 20% salary increment for the academic staff of Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki.
Governor Francis Nwifuru announced the increment at the 12th —15th convocation of the university held at the University main campus, Ezzamgbo.
The Governor also announced 10% salary increment for non academic staff while school fees for students were reduced by 10%.
The Governor also increased monthly subvention of the University from 200 million Naira to 280 million Naira.
According to the Governor, Alex Ekwueme Teaching Hospital AE FUTHA II has been taken back and renamed Ebonyi State University Teaching Hospital Abakaliki.
