Multiple Road Accident At New Haven Junction In Enugu
A multiple road accident which occurred at New Haven junction on Enugu Abakaliki Express way has claimed the life of a middle aged woman while several others sustained various degrees of injuries.
The accident which occurred on Monday 14th March 2016, involved a water tanker, a tipper and Toyota Avensis Car. An eye witness who spoke to the Radio Nigeria attributed the incident to impatience on the part of the tipper and tanker drivers.
The owner of the Toyota vehicle who pleaded anonymity said he was about giving the woman a ride when his car was rammed by the heavy duty vehicles.
Our correspondent, Nonos Kalu reports that the body of the diseased and the injured were taken to ESUT Teaching Hospital by Officials of Federal Road Safety Commission who arrived the scene hours after the incident.
