FRSC partners Toronto Hospital to save accident victims

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and Toronto Hospital in Onitsha, Anambra State have agreed to collaborate on the treatment of road traffic crash vifrscctims. The agreement was reached over the weekend when the FRSC Unit Commander in Onitsha, Mr Paulinus Akpotobo visited the Medical Director/Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, Dr. Emeka Eze in Onitsha.

Akpotobo said that the agreement became paramount following the escalating cases of medical establishments rejecting road traffic accident victims in the area.

“Most times, hospitals reject accident victims and they begin to make request for deposits before they attend to them resulting in deaths of the accident victims often times.

“That is why we came to cement a working relationship with Toronto Hospital to ensure that all accident victims are given first attention at all times when there is a road traffic crash within Onitsha,” Akpotobo said.
