FRSC COMMENDS MOTORISTS FOR LOW ACCIDENT RATE DURING YULETIDE
The Road Safety Corps says it has recorded low accident rate and less traffic congestion during the festive period.
The Zonal Head of Operations, Federal Road Safety Corps, RS9 Enugu Zonal Command, Mr. Ogochukwu Ugboma, stated this while speaking with Radio Nigeria on Accident and Traffic Situation during the festive period.
Mr. Ugoma explained that the success was due to compliance by the road users to advice and instructions by the Federal Road Safety Corps on traffic rules.
According to Mr. Ugboma, motorists enjoyed free flow of traffic in places known for heavy vehicular movement such as 9th Mile Corner and Okpara Avenue during the festive period.
He also cautioned motorists to be cautions while driving to avoid road crashes.
