Four Persons have been injured in a motor accident in Enugu.

An accident which involved a trailer carrying creates of drinks, a bus, a Golf and an electricity pole at Ninth mile Corner Enugu, has left four persons with minor injuries.

According to an eye witness, Mr Hyginus Okechukwu whose shop the trailer ran into, it was an act of God that the lives of people were spared.

Another person who spoke in Igbo Language attributed the cause of the accident which occurred at about half past seven o’clock yesterday, to brake failure.

In an interview with Radio Nigeria, the Assistant Corps commander, Federal Road safety Corps RS nine point one two, ninth mile, Enugu Mr Joel Enwereuzor who described the accident as minor called on driver to be cautions while driving.

Correspondent Obiora Eze resports that as at the time of filing this report, Officials of the Road Safety Corps and policemen were busy directing traffic, while remnants of the crates, were being evacuated.

In a related development, three young men have died while digging a well for water at Federal Housing Estate Three- three Onitsha.

Two of them were reported to have come from Cross Rivers State while the third was said to be from one of the states in the Northern part of the country.

Correspondent Oby Arinze who witnessed the removal of the bodies of the men from the well reports that sympathizers could not control their emotion as they wept profusely.
