Diocese of Nssuka Anglican Communion Plans her second session of its eight synod
The Diocese of Nssuka, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion will hold the second session of its eight synod from tomorrow Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th of this month at the Cathedral Church of Saint Paul Nsukka.
The Bishop of the Diocese, His Lordship Rt. Reverend Alloycious Agbo announced this when he led members of the synod organizing committee on a courtesy visit to the management of federal Radio corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Enugu National Station.
According to the Bishop, the synod with the theme “The return of the Ark” will feature special seminar on the importance of education and Agriculture.
Rt. Rev Agbo who described the synod as the highest decision making body of the church threw more light on the theme of the synod.
He solicited Radio Nigeria’s partnership in publicizing the event.
Responding, the zonal director FRCN Enugu National station, represented by the Deputy Director Internal Audit, Mr Frank Okoli commended the Bishop and the Diocese of Nsukka for the contributions of the church towards a better society and promised the station’s assistance in publicizing the event.
The synod will end on Sunday October 30 with a thanksgiving service and an award to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State for his com
mitment to peace and development in the area.
