DEPUTY DIRECTOR, FINANCE AND ACCOUNT, RADIO NIGERIA ENUGU BOWS OUT OF SERVICE

There is always a time for everything in life, for the Deputy Director, Finance and Account, Radio Nigeria Enugu,Mr Alfred Onyekwere it is time to bow out of service having completed the mandatory thirty-five years of service.

Infact, it was celebration all through for members of staff of the sub-directorate and indeed the National station, as they took their turn at the Radio Nigeria Events Center, Broadcasting House Enugu, to extolled the sterling qualities of Mr Alfred Onyekwere.

The Zonal Director,Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Enugu National Station,Mr Ike Okere while commending the outstanding roles of the retiring officer,saidMr Alfred Onyekwere was very dedicated, hard working and honest worker.

Mr. Okere urged d those still in service to see retirement as the beginning of new opportunities and therefore should make adequate plans for that.He also advised members of staff to be civil in their day to day activities to attain greater height in service.

Also speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Director, Internal Audit,Mr Frank Okoli, the Deputy Director, Administration,Mr Sam Anyanwu and that of Marketing,Mr Ikechukwu Ezeh described Mr. Onyekwere as a dependable colleague and wished him well in his future endevour.

 

Speaking on behalf of the Finance and Account sub directorate, Assistant Director, Finance Mr. ChineduOkolo summarized the qualities of Mr. Onyekwere,whom he said had left indelible marks on the sands of time.

For the celebrant, Mr. Onyekwere, it was a memorable experience working in FRCN. He advised members of staff to learn to lean on God in all they do.

Mr. Onyekwere joined FRCN on the first of October, 1982 as an Accounts Clerk, and retires on November 30, 2017.
