CHRISTMAS: ASSIST THE POOR, IMPROVE THE ECONOMY — BISHOP EZEOKAFOR BEGS GOVT & THE RICH

The Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, the Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor, has charged Nigerians to show love to others and reconcile with one another whenever they have differences.
Bishop Ezeokafor gave the charge in his Christmas message delivered at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Awka.
He explained that the joy of Christmas is love and sharing, noting that Christ came and took human nature to redeem mankind.
According to the Bishop, showing love to other people is the highest thing to share.
The cleric stressed that government needed to be up and doing to improve the condition of her citizens and explained that Nigerians were going through hardship as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.
Bishop Ezeokafor appealed to wealthy individuals and political leaders to use the Yuletide to touch lives, especially the less privileged.
The Catholic Bishop also called on Nigerians to adhere strictly to COVID-19 protocol, considering the confirmation of the emergency of the second wave of the pandemic across the world.
