ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT ISSUES 3WEEK ULTIMATUM TO 19 COMMUNITIES TO COMPLETE SPONSORED PROJECTS IN THEIR AREAS

The Anambra State Government has issued a three-week ultimatum to nineteen communities in the State to complete various government sponsored projects in their domain.

The State Commissioner for Information and Communication Strategy, Mr. Tony Nnachetta, made the government’s position known in a statement issued in Awka.

The Commissioner noted that despite releasing the first and second tranches of twenty million naira to the communities, some of them were yet to complete their first projects.

According to Mr. Nnachetta, theyhave not also processed the second tranche of the project fund.

The present administration of Gov. Willie Obiano had initiated community infrastructure projects with the provision of twenty million naira to each community to execute projects of their choice.
