ABIA STATE GOVT EXTENDS CURFEW TO TWO MORE COMMUNITIES

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has approved the extension of the curfew already enforce in Umuahia and Aba to Ohafia and Arochukwu local governments areas.
He has also approved that the curfew imposed in the state should henceforth commence from 8pm to 6am.
Chief of Staff to the Abia State Governor, Dr. Anthony Agbazuere, in a statement explained that the decision was reached at the State Security Council Meeting.
It advised residents of the state to strictly comply with the new order to avoid collateral consequences, as security agencies were on alert to ensure airtight enforcement of the curfew.
