A 42YEARS OLD MAN DEFILED HIS 4YEARS OLD DAUGHTER AT ONITSHA

The Anambra state ministry of Women’s and children’s Affairs has arrested a 42 year old man, ikechukwu Ekenta for defiling his four year old daughter at the 33 area of Onitsha.

The suspect is a native of Atta in ikeduru local government area of imo state.   The State commissioner for Women and children Affairs lady Ndidi Mezue disclose this, while briefing newsmen in Awka.

The incident occurred when the mother of the little girl visited the hospital to delivered of a new baby.  The State commissioner for women’s and children’s Affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue who confirmed the development to journalists said the ministry got the report from a concerned citizen and immediately dispatched its team of social workers with the DSS to effect the arrest of the culprit at 33 in Onitsha.    

The commissioner, who described the act as abomination, said medical examination on the child confirmed that there was penetration and serious injury to the little girl’s private part.  Narrating her ordeal, the victim, kamsiyochukwu Ekenta said her daddy put his manhood inside her private part, while she was asleep and she felt pain in the morning when she woke up.  

The wife of the suspect and mother of the victim, Mrs Uzoamaka Ekenta said she noticed that her daughter was in pain when she was bathing her and trying to wash her private part. She confirmed that the little girl told her that it was her father that had carnal knowledge of her while she was away.

  According to Mrs Ekenta, when she confronted her husband, he denied it and threatened to ostracize her if she revealed the incident. She said the ministry, however came to her aid and arrested her husband after a tip off. Confessing to the crime the suspect, ikechukwu Ekenta told Radio Nigeria that he was being manipulated by evil spirit. Efforts to speak with the PPRO, Anambra State Police Command, Mr Haruna Mohammed was not successful.
