A 40 YEAR OLD WINDOW ELECTROCUTED IN EBONYI STATE

A forty year old widow living at number 27 Ukwansi Street in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Mrs. Joy Osuchukwu has been electrocuted at Water Works Road Abakaliki.

The victim’s sister in law, Mrs. ChidinmaOkoro told journalists that the deceased had gone to fetch water shortly after returning from a church service when she stepped on a naked wire connected to the streetlight at Water Works Road.

“My aunty went to go and fetch water and in the process of her coming back, she mistakenly matched a naked wire. She just fell down on the ground, just like that, and in the process of taking her to the hospital, the doctor said that they don’t (sic) know what to do again, that she has passed on.”
