5 SUSPECTS IN POLICE NET FOR ATTACK ON PARTY DELEGATES IN EBONYI STATE
Police in Ebonyi State have arrested five suspects in connection with the deadly shooting that claimed the lives of some delegates at a party primary election in Onueke Ezza South Local Government Area.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Mrs. Loveth Odah stated this in Abakaliki.
Mrs. Odah explained that the suspects were arrested at various parts of Onueke shortly after the incident and witnesses had been invited to identify them for proper investigations.
The Police Public Relations Officer emphasized that the suspects would be arraigned in court after investigations.
Radio Nigeria gathered that suspected political thugs opened fire on the delegates and set vehicles ablaze at the venue of the primary election.
