Kidnapped wives of Nasarawa commissioner released

Against the belief of 2016_11_05_7486having to pay ransom to kid­nappers as a condition to secure the release of the abducted victims of the wives of a Nasarawa State Commissioner kid­napped by armed gun­men last Thursday, the Nasarawa Police Com­mand have confirmed that the abducted wives
of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Ahmed Tijani, were released unhurt and without any ran­som.
Confirming that inci­dent, the Police Public Relation Officer of the State Command, ASP Idirisu Kennedy, said the abductors only suc­cumbed to mounted pressures in search of their hideout by both security
operatives and the lo­cals to the release of the women at Edege Gida of Nasarawa Local Gov­ernment Area of Nasar­awa State.
He said no ransom was paid to the abduc­tors as the women were released unhurt.
Their husband, Hon. Ahmed Tijani further confirmed the released of his wives to the newsmen on phone, saying “I am grateful to Allah”.
