IMO SET TO ENGAGE OVER 500 THOUSAND FARMERS IN AGRIC REVOLUTION

Imo State government is set to engage more than five hundred thousand active individuals through data capturing across its twenty-seven local government areas of the state in order to participate in agricultural revolution and increase their earnings.
The Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Agricultural Development, Mr. Uche Odozor, made this known to journalists in Owerri while unveiling the plans of the state government to improve the living standard of the people.
Mr. Odozor explained that agriculture was one of the things that affected every single person directly as well as the key and pivotal pillar of the economy.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor emphasized that Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, which had been idle for so long, would be activated through the process for export of farm produce from the state.
Mr. Uche Odozor stressed that recent restrictions on food products importation by the Federal Government calls for urgent participation in agriculture.
The SSA to the governor maintained that the data capture was free and online based registration of one-page form with the address www.huetzmobile.com/imo-agro-database for people in the rural areas to queue into and start training immediately.
