NSCDC IN ANAMBRA PROMISES SECURITY DURING EASTER
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, in Anambra state says it will deploy over thousands personnel for the Easter celebration in the state.
The Commandant of the Corps in the state, Mr. John Ahwen, made this known while addressing reporters in Awka.
He said the officers and men of the corps would be deployed to flash points in and around the state as well as churches, mosques and recreational centers to forestall any security breach.
Commandant Ahwen also stated that men of the corps on power bikes would be roving around the state to ensure hitch-free celebration, pointing out that other sister agencies were undertaking proactive measures to guarantee security during the Easter festivity.
