ENSHA SPEAKER CONDEMNS ALL FORMS OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

The Speaker Enugu State House of Assembly, Chief Edward Ubosi has commended women especially in the State for their role in supporting government policies in building a viral society.

Chief Ubosi gave the commendation in a message to felicitate with women on the occasion of this year’s International Women’s Day .

He condemned all forms of violence and discrimination against women and called for the abolition of obnoxious laws and traditions against them.

While describing women as pillar of peace and development in every nation, the Speaker commended women-based organizations in Enugu State for their leadership roles in advancing issues concerning women.
