POLICE NAB SUSPECTED KILLER OF ABSU STUDENT

The principal suspect in the murder of a five hundred level student of the Abia State University (ABSU), Emmanuel Uche, is now in police custody.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Abia state, Ms Maureen Chinaka, who disclosed this in a statement, identified the suspect as Emmanuel Victor, who was seen in a video that had gone viral, committing the crime at Uturu, the university community.
The statement said a team of detectives from the Abia State Police Command, who acted on credible intelligence, apprehended the suspect at Isuikwuato Local Government Area of the state on April 18, 2024.
The statement added that the suspect had confessed to the crime and would be prosecuted.
