FATHER KILLS SON IN ABIA

Abia State Police Command has confirmed the death of a 27-year-old man, Sunday Udeh, who was shot and killed by his father in Eziama Lokpaukwu, Umunneochi Local Government Area.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Mrs. Maureen Chinaka, while comfirming the incident in a statement, said the suspect and father of the victim, Mr. Theophilus Udeh, shot and killed his son on February 25, 2024.
According to the statement, upon receiving the information, detectives from the Isuochi Divisional Headquarters visited the crime scene, removed, and deposited the corpse at the mortuary for autopsy just as exhibits were recovered.
The statement added that the suspect had been arrested while the case had been transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation.
