OTTI TASKS NEW HEADS OF SERVICE AGENCIES IN ABIA STATE TO SURPASS ACHIEVEMENTS OF THEIR PREDECESSORS

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has promised to give adequate support to the new service commanders redeployed to the state for enhanced security.
Governor Otti, who made the pledge during the official send-off of some service commanders who served the State meritoriously, emphasized the crucial role of security to the economic growth and development of the state.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to securing all parts of the state.
The Governor attributed the successes recorded in securing the state, especially at Leru, Lokpanta, Lekwesi areas of Umunneochi Local Government Area, to the dedication and service of security agencies across the state.
Governor Otti thanked the outgoing service commanders for working with the government as a team, which led to the successes recorded by the “Operation Crush Initiative” and other security formations and wished them well in their new places of assignments.
While welcoming the new service commanders to the State, the Governor charged them to strive to surpass the achievements of their predecessors in deepening security all parts of the state.
In a reaction, the Brigade Commander, 14 Brigade Ohafia, Brigadier General John Edet, while expressing gratitude on behalf of the outgoing service commanders, acknowledged Governor Otti’s unwavering commitment to addressing insecurity in Abia State.
The New Service Commanders redeployed to the state are Brigadier General O.O Diya, Commanding 14 Brigade Ohafia; Salamis Ajege Department of State Security; CIS Alphonsus Ndupu (Immigration); and Mr Usman Ishaq Alfadarai, for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC).
