YULETIDE: FRSC CAUTIONS ABIA MOTORISTS AGAINST BREAKING TRAFFIC RULES

The Acting Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Abia State Command, Mrs. Bridget Asekhauno, says the corps has mapped out adequate strategies to ensure free flow of traffic on the roads during the Yuletide in the state.
Mrs. Asekhauno stated this in a chat with Radio Nigeria in Umuahia.
She noted that over six hundred personnel made up of both regular and special Marshalls of the corps have been deployed to strategic positions to help control influx of traffic during and after the festive period in the state.
On the installation of Speed limit device on vehicles, the Acting Sector Commander stated that the enforcement is still in place and called on fleets operators to ensure that they comply to the directive.
Mrs. Asekhauno pointed out that the corps had in the recent time organized some trainings for commercial tricycle operators on traffic rules and regulations.
She advised motorists to always drive with caution and avoid over speeding, over loading and answering calls while driving on the road during this festive period.
He reminded motorists that only the living that celebrate.
