OTTI DECORATES PROMOTED POLICE OFFICERS, HONOURS OTHERS

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State says the New Abia he is building focuses more on what the people can offer to improve the state.

Governor Otti stated this after decorating eight newly-promoted officers of the Nigeria Police Force, serving in Abia State, and honouring four other officers of Abia extraction, who have just successfully completed their course of study in the Police Academy, Wudil, Kano.

According to Governor Otti whether a resident is born in the state or not, does not make the person superior or inferior, adding that one’s place of birth is an accident of history.

The Governor congratulated the newly promoted officers and those who concluded their at the Police Academy.

He encouraged them to work harder to ensure that they excelled in every assignment they undertake to able them to attain greater height in their career.

Responding on behalf of the officers, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) 1, Mr. Itiola, thanked Governor Otti for his support to the police force.
