NEW 14 BRIGADE COMMANDER PLEDGES COLLABORATION TO ROOT OUT CRIMINALS IN ABIA

The new 14 Brigade Commander Nigerian Army, Ohafia, Abia State, Brigadier General Nsikak Edet, has pledged to collaborate with relevant stakeholders and other sister security agencies to ensure adequate peace in the state.
Brigadier General Edet stated this shortly after change of baton from the former Brigade Commander of the command, Brigadier General Adegoke Adetuyi at Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks Ohafia, Abia State.
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer 14 Brigade Nigerian Army, Ohafia Lieutenant Innocent Omale, Brigadier General Edet noted that the synergy would provide the conducive environment for all well meaning citizens of the state to carry out their normal life without molestation or threats of any kind.
He warned hoodlums and criminal elements in the state to desist from their criminal acts, including unwonted killing of innocent persons.
the statement said the Army would deal decisively with anyone caught causing mayhem in the society.
The statement echoed Brigadier General Edet’s pledged to consolidate on the successes recorded by the out-gone Commander towards achieving the the Chief of Army Staff Command philosophy of “transforming the Nigerian Army into a well trained, equipped and highly motivated force.”
It added that the outgone Commander, Brigadier General Adetuyi, thanked officers and men of the Brigade for the successes recorded during his tour of duty and urged them to extend same support to the new Commander.
