EBONYI STATE GOVT SETS UP VERIFICATION COMMITTEE FOR LG WORKERS

Ebonyi State Government has embarked on the verification of local government workers to identify genuine ones.
To this end, Governor Francis Nwifuru has constituted a six man Verification Committee headed by Mrs. Catherine Ogbu to carryout the exercise.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Monday Uzor, listed other members of the Committee, including the State Head of Service and the Chairman Nigeria Union of Teachers.
The statement further explained that the exercise would commmce on Tuesday at Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium while any worker who failed to participate would not be paid salary.
