AUTO CRASH CLAIMS 12 LIVES ON ENUGU-ABAKALIKI HIGHWAY

Twelve persons have lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident that occured at Ezilo in Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps in the State, Mrs. Uche Chukwura, who confirmed the accident, said it involved a shuttle bus and a truck.
She noted that 14 passengers were involved in the accident while two survived and were receiving treatment in the hospital.
It was further gathered that the victims were on transit to attend a burial ceremony when their shuttle bus had a head on collusion with the truck.
Meanwhile, Radio Nigeria gathered that the remains of the victims had been deposited in a mortuary.
