VOTING BEGINS BEHIND SCHEDULE IN IZZI LGA

Distribution of election materials commenced a about 30 minutes, one hour behind schedule in some of the polling centres visited in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
Radio Nigeria observed that as at 9:07am, INEC officials were seen arriving at the polling unit 009, Agubata Agbaja Village Hall, Izzi.
The Presiding Officer, Kyrian Onwe, told Radio Nigeria that the delay was as result of logistics challenges at the Registration Area Centre (RAC) at Nwofe Central School.
As at 9:30, the six polling units at the Agbaja Central School Nwofe were still setting up their units for voting.
Many people were seen waiting for the INEC officials to begin the process.
